One of the patents includes position sensitive internal bypass technology which allows fluid passages to bypass the piston through regulated ports as it moves through the travel. This allows for a plush predictable ride over normal offroad driving conditions, and also has the ability to ramp up the damping force for extreme use.
The shocks are crafted from heavy duty steel with billet aluminum components that have race-bred internal valving. These are designed to bolt to your aftermarket long-arm suspension lift kit. All of the technology found in the 2.5 Factory Series Internal Bypass Shocks can also be found in Fox Racing "s race winning trophy truck shocks with stainless steel shock shafts.
On top of that, these shocks include PTFE-lined spherical bearings, proprietary racing oil, and high-temp Viton seals. There are large 2.5" remote reservoirs with a large -10 hose which have been designed to provide more cooling capacities.
