This TeraFlex JK Front Locking Hub Conversion Kit was designed to help upgrade JK Dana 30 and 44 axles. It will deliver several benefits over the factory unit bearing design. The company was able to dramatically reduce bearing load with the increase of the distance between the outer and inner wheel bearings within the hub. These bearings rest on the forged 4140 chromoly spindle, which accepts readily available low cost industry standard bearings and seals. The incorporation of an 8 on 6.5" wheel bold pattern helped the company use one-ton Dana 60 application components throughout the system. The SlimLock Hub kit also features forged 4340 chromoly 35 spline stub shafts. This hub design brings in high surface area engagement with an extreme durability. The kit works perfectly for flat towing by allowing hubs to be set in an unlocked position during transportation. The Locking Hub Conversion comes with the TeraFlex dual piston Big Brake Kit, complete with slotted rotors. The 2007-2012 Dana 30 axles will need new inner shafts for the larger u-joing end forgings (#303118 for driver side and 303134 for passenger side). Every 2013+ Dana 30 and Dana 44 JK axles will use the same U-joing. This locking hub kit might not work with all wheels, so make sure it fits before installing.
